A housing supplied without the electrical assembly cannot itself carry an electrical certification — that sits with the brand owner and the driver chosen. Where a requirement falls outside our tooling, our finish line or our IP sealing capability, we say so at enquiry stage rather than quoting and adjusting later.
If your part is better served by a different process — for example a spun or pressed body rather than a die-cast one — we will tell you, even when it means we are not the right supplier for that item.
What do you need from me to quote?
A 2D drawing, a 3D file, a physical sample or a reference photo, together with target quantity, destination market and any certification requirement. A drawing marked with critical tolerances gives the most accurate quotation.
Do you charge for tooling, and who owns it?
New moulds and dies are quoted separately as a one-off tooling cost. Where the buyer pays the tooling, the mould is dedicated to that buyer for the life of the project. Existing housing series require no tooling charge at all.
What is a typical lead time?
For existing series, production is typically 15–25 days after deposit. For new tooling projects, sampling is typically about 15 days after drawing approval, with mass production 30–45 days after sample approval. Exact dates are confirmed in the quotation for each project.
Can you private-label the products and the packaging?
Yes. We offer laser marking on the body, printed rating labels, custom colour boxes, printed instruction sheets and OEM cartons. Artwork is confirmed against a proof before mass printing.
Which certifications can you support?
The housing is supplied as a mechanical part, so the electrical certification of the finished luminaire sits with the brand owner and the driver chosen. We provide material declarations, RoHS statements, IP test reports per batch and dimensional inspection records to support your own CE or equivalent filing.
