Quality Control & Supply Chain
A housing problem does not appear at the point of sale. It appears on site, when the luminaire will not sit flush, the coating does not match the previous batch, or the cut-out is half a millimetre out across five hundred pieces. Every check we run exists to catch that before the container leaves China.
Four Checkpoints Before Shipment
1. Drawing & sample approval
Dimensions, tolerances, material, finish and IP rating are written down and confirmed on an approved sample before production starts. A specification that exists only in a chat thread is not a specification.
2. Incoming material
Alloy grade, wall thickness, gasket material and diffuser stock are checked against the approved sample — not against a supplier's certificate alone.
3. In-process & finishing
Coating thickness, colour consistency and surface defects are checked per batch, because colour drift between batches is the most common complaint on coated parts.
4. Pre-shipment inspection
Dimensions, fit-up, appearance, marking, quantity, packing and a carton drop check. The inspection record travels with the shipping documents.

If Something Goes Wrong
Tell us what you found and when, with a photo where possible. The issue is investigated against the approved drawing, the approved sample and the inspection record for that order, and the outcome is confirmed in writing rather than by phone.
Supply Chain Arrangement
Our production is organised by process — casting, extrusion, forming and finishing — rather than by buying finished goods off a shelf. That is what allows a tolerance on a drawing to mean something by the time the parts are packed.
Process-led production
Tooling, casting and finishing sit on a controlled process. A repeat order runs against the same drawing, the same tool and the same finish specification.
Written specifications
Every order runs against a written specification, so a repeat order can be compared to the original rather than described from memory.
Export handled in-house
Quotation, inspection coordination, booking and documentation are handled by us, not subcontracted to a third party.
Certifications & Compliance
Compliance requirements differ by product type and destination market, so we confirm the applicable documents in the quotation for your specific part rather than publishing a certificate wall that may not match it.
CE documentation
Conformity documentation for the relevant EU directives, supplied for the product ranges where current test reports are held.
RoHS declaration
Restriction of hazardous substances declaration covering the materials used in the part and its packaging.
